Purchased from the heirs of Cardinal Albani by James Dennistoun, c.1838. 4th Earl of Ashburnham (Ashburnham Appendix MS no. LXII).

Purchased by Henry Yates Thompson together with the entire Ashburnham Appendix, May 1897.
