Seven robes currently exist, each with its own name.
The most precious are of diamonds and rubies and constitute a collection of old gems from 15th and 19th centuries.
The two robes on coral are also very beautiful.
A special robe was made for the occasion of Poland's baptism the Millenium celebrations in 1966, and is encrusted with rubies and wedding rings giving it its name - "The Robe of Fidelity".
Two robes were also made for the sanctuary's 600th Jubilee Year.
The gems and other precious stones were fixed on rigid velvet cushions and today, the robes constitute rare examples of artistic work in gold.
