- It is a work of great distinction.
The flesh areas of the Virgin and Child, the angels and donor, and the floor and pillow are remarkably well perserved, but the haloes of the Virgin and Child are modern, as is the checkered cloth of honor.
The red of the Virgin's dress has been repainted and the gilt floral ornament of Her cloak, which is heavily abraded, is also of recent date.
